Call for Divestment in Your Neighborhood
Call on your neighborhood's elected leaders to support divestment from Wells Fargo — and urge DC Council to do the same.
Advisory Neighborhood Commissions, or ANCs, are a neighborhood-level elected government unique to DC. While DC Council drags its feet on making the choice to divest from Wells Fargo's fraud and injustice, we're encouraging ANCs all over the District to take the lead in urging the City of the District of Columbia to sever its ties with Wells Fargo.
Wherever you live in DC, you're part of an ANC. and you can take action in your neighborhood.

Resources to help you take action with your ANC
Once you've signed up, organizers will follow up with you to support you in going to your ANC and urging them to pass a resolution supporting our campaign to get DC to divest from Wells Fargo. In the meantime, here are some important resources to help you prepare.
- Sample resolution: Here is draft text of a resolution we're urging ANCs to pass. So far, six ANCs have passed resolutions calling on the city to divest from Wells Fargo: 3C – Cleveland Park/ Woodley Park, 4C - Petworth, 4A- 16th Street Heights, Brightwood, and Shepherd Park, 1C- Adams Morgan, 3F-Van Ness, North Cleveland Park, and 1D- Mount Pleasant.
- Sample presentation: We have prepared a simple script and talking points for you to bring to your ANC meeting when you ask for the divstment resolution to be introduced.
